Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum led his team to a 25-point victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series on Wednesday night. The win sends the Celtics to the East Finals, where they will face either the New York Knicks or the Indiana Pacers.
Tatum was dominant throughout the game, scoring 25 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field. He also added 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals.
The Celtics took control of the game in the second half, outscoring the Cavaliers by 15 points. Tatum was a key part of the Celtics' surge, scoring 12 points in the third quarter.
The Celtics will now have a few days off before their East Finals series begins. The series is scheduled to start on Sunday, May 19.
